PMQs

If I am at home I often tune in for Prime Minister's Questions. It's usually a bear garden, mostly trading in insults. But today was different. I was moved to see how many of our MPs were wearing blue and yellow and even more moved when they all rose to their feet and gave the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK a round of applause as he took his seat in the gallery. Even the tone of the dialogue was much more subdued than usual with the focus well and truly on what could be done to assist Ukraine. For once, I was proud of the British Parliament.
