Le Rond-Point

Rainy spring day in the Tarentaise Valley today... but warm, sunny weather is apparently on it's way this weekend and next week. The forsythia is gorgeous and in full bloom everywhere and the buds on the trees are just starting to open in town. Hopefully there are more springy, flowery, warm-weathery blips are to come! This is a tiny park next to the highway exit in Moûtiers that had previously never caught my eye as it was always gray and weedy looking. But now all those weeds have pretty little flowers blooming and the whole place has a new effect. The only marker on the stature says it's made of "marbre blanc bluete de Savoie." It's pretty though.
