Snowdrops in March
A day of gales, and cloudy. There was the odd shower.
I popped along Laura on my way to work this morning. I've been working late shift again in the airport. I was working with oil and gas flights this morning, and then meeting and boarding flights for the rest of the day. Due to a couple of delays, we had to stay late tonight, finishing at 2200hrs. Finished off the French onion soup, and now much needed feet up.
After breakfast, I popped out to feed the birds, and a look around the garden. It was a great taste of spring yesterday, but back to winter today, just hope my snowdrops don't get too battered by the gales. The snowdrops have been looking great for a week or so, also the crocuses. Daffodils and tulips are starting to pop up, things starting to look fresh and spring like. Think my lawn will need some much needed attention this summer. Taken at home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
