Dramatic Skies

“What ya doing Sparrow?” Sez I.
“Just fact checking something I saw on the news last night” says she.

I waited silently. I’ve learnt that it’s not wise to interrupt the Sparrow when she’s busy on the computer!

“Yep, it’s true!” she announced.
“What’s that?” I asked.

“In last weeks rain event, Brisbane had the equivalent of London’s annual rainfall in three days!”

“Crikey!” sez I.
