Deer Family

We had not been feeding the deer for a few months but decided to put corn in the feeder to see if we could find out how many of the herd had survived the winter.    This morning was the first time they came when it was light enough to get a photo out the window.   We had seven deer which looked to be a few mommas and the babies that were born last summer.  I did not notice any little spike antlers but I know a few of those born last summer had stubs of antlers ate last fall.   They all look healthy and I hope there are a few morning rambling around in the woods.

I hate their habitat has been depleted due to housing development.  

Another rain day and a threat of frosty cold tomorrow night.
