Double Booked

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

The Youngest Mini Princess started a job in a local shop on Friday and she agreed to do a shift this morning. This led to a “teenage logic conversation” yesterday…

Me: “Did you say that your next shift is tomorrow morning?”

YMP: “Yeah.”

Me: “But you have an appointment to have your covid booster?”

YMP: “Oh…it’s not in the calendar.”

Me: “You made the appointment!”

YMP: “Yeah - but you were sitting next to me.”

In other news, The Duke phoned to say he was going to pop in for coffee and introduce us to his new girlfriend, Fran*.

I had to promise YMP that I wouldn’t say “It’s frantastic to meet you” or to offer her “Franana cake”!
