Busy Robin
A beautiful sunny morning bursting with birdsong. Cock chaffinches have started repeating their territorial calls and wrens have suddenly become very vocal. I was delighted to hear a little grebe whinnying from the lake. A new sport for me is capturing birds deep in bushes using eye recognition. I was very pleased with an image of a song thrush in a blackthorn with its bill agape.
Though I got nice shots of the singers I have decided to post this robin which popped up from behind the fence with its beak full of nest building material as it symbolises spring.
