Early birthday

It’s Violet’s 6th birthday on Sunday but Alan and I are going away for a long weekend so unfortunately I’m not able to go to her party. Instead, I drove up this afternoon, picked both girls up from school and then met Rach at David Lloyd.

The girls have swimming lessons after school on Wednesday and afterwards we ate at the cafe. I left about 7.30pm and had a good journey home.

This morning I went to see mum, who sadly still isn’t feeling well. I’m so glad she’s where she is and is being well looked after and not at home on her own.
