Looking Up

Today we hired a guide to take us up into some mountain towns where we went on a hike through a cave, ate a delicious trout lunch in an outdoor restaurant overlooking a mountain stream, and visited some churches.
The interesting things about the churches, most of which were built in the 1600-1700's, are the architecture, the adornments, and the history that they hold.
This photo is the restored wooden ceiling of the church in Capulálpam.
