The willow tree

It was a glorious day today, sunny with blue skies and quite warm in the sunshine - it definitely feels like summer is on it's way. I thought the willow tree along the river was looking lovely with its fresh new leaves.

It was a busy day doing errands, two walks for Xena, grocery shopping and wrapping presents for Luke's birthday. I managed to do just over 20 000 steps today, its surprising how many steps are done at the supermarket!

Tonight I was meant to be going to book club, but it has been cancelled as the host has been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid. She was not required to cancel but we thought it was the safest option.

Tomorrow morning it is the early train back to London to see the dermatologist about the results of the allergy patch testing. I do hope he is able to determine something conclusive, and also that I am not allergic to dog hair!
