Wedding Anniversary

All our plans to celebrate at the end of last week were cancelled as a result of Sue now having the dreaded Covid. She is suffering far more than I did and really feels like doing nothing and doing it very quietly.
To try and make the day a little special Daughter two invited us over and, using the Boston Tea Party, a local company, produced a special afternoon tea in a box for us to enjoy. Sandwich's, scones with jam and cream and a selection of cakes all in individual cardboard boxes. Very silly but a lovely idea that both of us really appreciated.
We eat in their summer house whilst the sun shone and later when the temperature dropped the fire was lit making it very cosy. As you can see the dogs especially enjoyed the fire
