Being two....

Fabulous day with the family as my sister and two nieces are here too, so my daughter's house is very full and delightfully chaotic. This is a very late blip as we have all just returned from a super meal at a local Greek restaurant.

This morning I went to watch the two bigger grandsons (aged 6 and 5) play football and it was very, very muddy in the field. At one stage I caught sight of young L having a great time paddling though this muddy puddle in his red wellies. How great it must be to be two and allowed to run freely in the mud. I loved watching how carefree he was, but as I squatted down to take his photo I completely lost my balance and ended up on my back in the mud, much to everyone's amusement and I ended up just as muddy as the wee chap!
