Rosie’s Roses

I was not expecting another day of cloudless blue skies and warm sunshine although I do notice a cool edge to the easterly breeze.

Not wanting to appear to my neighbours as though I do nothing but sit outside in idle contemplation when the sun shines, I made a start on packing up some of my no longer worn clothes to give to the local charity shop.

Then it was lunch time and after a walk round the neighbourhood, I felt I could reasonably sit outside to acquire a tan without being pilloried for being lazy.

There’s just a half glass of wine left in the bottle so I think that I will tidy that up too while I’m at it.
