Cowgate

Trips down the Cowgate are usually reserved for August when the festival is in full swing and the Underbelly is one of the main venues. Today I went to get the Orders of Service printed for my sister and Wendell's wedding in May, and found myself wandering through on my way up to the Grassmarket. There is a city wide art exhibition on at the moment, it's of large scale arial photographs of Britain which are on large display boards at different sites all over town. There was a fascinating image of the Isle of White where poly tunnels growing strawberries for Wimbledon seem to go on endlessly, I'm going to look for them on google earth!
