Silver Queue

So glad to be watching the Rock and Roll half marathon than running it this year. High winds and rain on a very hilly challenging course. Jazz barked as we cheered the runners coming in as gusts of winds hampered their final sprint to the finish line.

Here are the runners at the end wrapped in silver survival blankets, shivering as they wait in the queue to pick up the finishers pack and their own warm clothes. If you look closely you might even spot Elvis! I pulled my waterproof in tighter and headed home for a nice hot cup of tea.
