St Gabriel's Church, Prestonpans

St Gabriel's RC Church was built in 1966.  It's an important example of post-war ecclesiastical architecture in a modern concentric circular design.  Although an aerial view illustration clearly shows a strong morphic form representing a fish!  It took two years to build costing £40,000. 

Dad and I had a game of bowls at Meadowmill.  He's had a run of illness and ops over the last few years so it's been a while since he's played.  Under these circumstances this might be the first and last time that I was able to win!  It was great to have a game with him and see him back on the rink.
