All our plans over the next few weeks have hinged on getting this document. Fortunately despite variant B-2’s propensity to infect we have managed to steer clear and fly out tomorrow.

It has added a whole degree of uncertainty to which has been added the huge frustration of trying to check in via the app. Despite numerous attempts the documentation on vaccination status has not been accepted and I see no way to overcome the problem.

It has diverted me hugely from getting everything ready for the house and dog sitter so lots and lots - and lots - of running around at the last minute.

And finalising the garden. Looks as if we will miss the tulips - see extra- which are just coming into bloom.

Here’s hoping we can check in bright and early in the morning.
