South Coast Scribblings

Two types of puzzle...

Yet another 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle I have finished - this time of a Bavarian home!

I've started the day puzzling about whether I could fit a small electronic organ in the house. I'm really missing having an organ with a small foot pedal board to play (I got rid of one a number of years ago as it was really old and kept going wrong). I was talking to our church organist about it yesterday and, out of the blue, she said she had a small organ that she wanted to get rid of and the man who was going to take it had dropped out. I wondered if this could be "from the Lord" and I'm meant to have this organ - all she wants for it is a donation to a local children's hospice. She said I can go round and try it, but it's a puzzle as to where on earth we would put it in our already over-crowded house. And there's no point going and trying it and wanting it unless I know I can fit it in somewhere. The only thing I can think of is to dispose of an old PC in Stuart's office (which he's supposed to use to check emails but hardly ever does - that's usually my job as he's a bit of a techno-phobe!) and an old CRT screen that goes with it and the entire desk (which is stuffed full of junk all down the storage part of it), then move two pieces of furniture upstairs into that area, then put the organ where they were! Phew! The trouble with that is the organ will be right in the sun by the garden window. However, we don't seem to get much sun now so it might be all right..... Oh gosh, I don't know!

Anyway, it's a lovely sunny day so far - and the garden seriously needs some TLC so I'll go and get hubby a cup of tea and try and get him up from bed (it's his day off and he's having a lie-in). Have a good day everyone!
