Beauty is all around us.

A Red Tulip flowering in Church garden.

The Feast Day of Saint Martin 1.
At 6:15am I returned to my everyday consciousness, and heard the baby crying next door, and Arthur our cat, yowling in the kitchen. It was like two urgent sounds coming to my awareness but I knew the baby would have attention from the mother and Arthur was already fed and given his cat food and Metacam by my husband before his drive to work.
I needed my rest so it was a while later when I got up, checked the weather and got dressed for the day ahead.
There is a mistiness on the horizon. There is dampness in the air. I don't hate any weather, but find some more difficult to appreciate. I could not see the wind turbines, normally visible from our front door. up the street but on the moors. There are 12 of them and they provide green energy for some of the energy requirements in Hyndburn. Most of us are clueless about energy. I certainly lack insight.
I bought the I newspaper for 70p, for the puzzles and general view of how they see life. They cover so much ground.
Then my breakfast, time, Vegan supplements and a quick walk before the rain comes.
I walk alone with my camera. It is best. Time to pray and think and seek out the blip most attention seeking.
So after taking photos of Cut Wood trees, pink blossoms and returning home through the Church garden, this not very well focussed red tulip is my blip.
Where all the red petals meet, it forms a heart shape, if you look with attention.
The Church is closed and apart from a sudden abundance of Catholics moving into the catchment area of this Church, a miracle, then it will remain closed. A sad sight, a big loss to our neighbourhood, but a sign of these times.
Have a good Wednesday. Thanks for visiting my blip sight.
