Different day

No.1 is a bridesmaid to her best friend. We had planned to drive to the venue to see the bridal party (we hadn’t been invited to the wedding) and take some pictures but changed our minds because:

Didn’t fancy 3 hours in the car in the lovely weather and the cost of petrol.
Garden was calling for some weeding
We had been out all day the day before
And, and, and!

I thought No1 would be disappointed but she was fine and understood. We had a busy day at home instead and did lots of gardening. Visited Homebase for some spray paint (finished decorating project changing silver tray to gold) we also called into Lidl where I bought 60 geraniums! They will stay in the greenhouse for a few weeks until they are ready to go out.

Easy dinner and a win at scrabble then a stupid argument with OH and a silent evening!
