Stage 1 of a multi-stage (and no doubt long drawn out) project to repair the old bench in the allotment is complete. In the end I only needed the hacksaw, hammer and elbow grease to get rid of the rusted on bolts. Metal renovation is next, hopefully it won’t all just fall to bits!
