High Force

..waterfall east of Barnards Castle and about 15 minute drive from our hotel. We woke this morning to a power cut so just cereal and fruit for breakfast followed by lukewarm coffee:) We did feel sorry for the hotel staff. 
We had a lovely wander to see this waterfall then meandered back to the hotel. This evening after dinner N,A and I went out to a local observatory to do some stargazing . Y opted to stay at the hotel….good thing she did as when we got back about 11.15 we had been locked out! A had to phone Y and wake her so she could come and let us in! :)
