Through The Brewery Hedge

I picked Tess up after Keep Fat this morning from our friends Tony & Rosie’s house as 2 of their sons and their families (one of the over from Los Angeles) are here for the weekend and it was a chance to catch up with them for the first time in a few years. Their eldest son and his family were arriving later so it was going to be a hectic weekend with 6 children under the age of 6 and a dog in the house!

After we left we called in at Glastonbury Brewery to stock up for a family gathering of our in a week or so. The brewery is in old farm buildings and this old gate in the hedge caught my eye as we walked back to the car.

This afternoon we got our new flower bed planted up. We’re very pleased with it though I might have to stand guard overnight to deter slugs and snails from breakfasting on it!
