Dales

Attended a funeral in the morning and got quite a bit done on the computer in the afternoon. Had to nip out to the shops for bread later, so I continued my journey through Denny up to Dales Wood where there is a short circular walk around the perimeter.

It was dry, but quite chilly and overcast. However, I had a pleasant walk in almost total solitude and the birdsong just added to the relaxing atmosphere.

According to the plant ID app on my phone, my picture of the day is a coltsfoot. Reminds me a bit of Dougal from the Magic Roundabout.
