Orkney Taxi Driver Stromness Day13

I have been very lucky with the weather so far. Today there was sunshine but the cool SE wind prevented the temperature rising to double figures.

I was up an about early to catch the high tide at the slipway where I met up with Lolz for a swim in still waters with no wind.
The conditions were the best yet but I still cannot put my head in the water for fear of getting an ‘ice cream ‘head.. so it’s a stately very unproductive breast stroke which takes me nowhere very fast.

I met up with my lovely taxi driver and the Current Mrs Creel at the pier head for a hurl to Sheila Fleet’s gallery in Tankerness for lunch. I think this is the pose he adopts to entice elderly ladies into his car. Should I be worried?
