The spoonbills are back.
The day started early, as I read notes for the new admissions, and then what had happened yesterday and overnight for those admitted earlier. Then met with the nurse who was team leader for today to plan the day's work. Thereafter, it was one task after another almost without pause until I called it a day at 1600.
On the way home, I stopped at Western Springs and walked around the lake. The spoonbills had gone from their tree on the edge of the lake sometime late last year. Almost a dozen were back this afternoon, and I got a good enough photo.
Looking forward to not having to be up early and commuting to the Unit in the morning.
