Tulips

These are the only tulips that survived from
last year. Usually I get 2 years from my Peter Nyssen special ones. I’ll but a new selection in the autumn.

Mr C had to spend the day planting out, though it is early, as we’ll be be going to Mull on Saturday, so he couldn’t leave them in pots. They’ll have a better chance of survival in the garden.

I bought on recommendation the cook book Persiana and though there’s a lot of meaty stuff in it, the mezze and salad dishes are really good. Luckily I had a some ingredients to use up so was able to experiment.

I looked up the The Great Circle which has come recommended but it’s not in paperback yet so I’ll wait.
