Cute pest

This was staring at me from a neighbour’s garden as I walked by on my way back from the co-op getting a few essentials to cook from my new Indian veggie book. Selfishly I hope the pest stays devouring that garden and doesn’t come after my roses.

The journey to the ballet wasn’t too bad last night and I was home not much later than 11. When I went to get the minibus I found Katy was also there minus Colin - not his thing - and I knew most of the others so it was a pleasant journey. We were scattered through the theatre but Katy and I got seats together. We enjoyed the ballet though I didn’t find it as exciting or interesting as the Scottish Ballet I saw with Mr C, Ailie and Chris in February. It was beautifully done of course.

Dennis is due from Suffolk in his 2CV any minute. He’s having a tedious journey what with roadworks holding him up an hour on A1M at Doncaster then a horrible service area at Wetherby. The G&T will be ready for him.
