Mystery crocus

We noticed at the weekend that there were 5 crocuses through in one of the garden containers. The strange thing is that we never planted any crocus bulbs (or any other bulbs) in that container. We don't have crocuses anywhere in our garden! It's all a bit of a mystery.....the only thing we can think of is somehow they got into the compost we bought.

They may be mysterious but as you can see they are also very soggy! Not the best shot in the world, the rain came on and I had to dash inside. This has been a very wet week so far!
