The Shorehouse, Tarbet

We had planned to drive up to Scourie and the Tarbet today to get the boat across to Handa Island. Unfortunately the wind was too strong and the crossings were cancelled. Luckily enough the restaurant was still open and we managed to get a very good light lunch in there. A wee walk about and then back in the car due to rain. We carried on up to Kinlochbervie for a look and then we headed back to Lochinver area for a walk in the Culag woods as the weather had now cleared. Lovely evening and plans being made for a climb up Suilven for some tomorrow, I plan to walk out and meet them later on.
