Day 6 National Garden Week

Back to our garden for day 6. of NGW. and a collage of some flowers which have opened since last Saturday.

Blue Camassia
Yellow and white iris
Orange Welsh poppy
Deep purple/ black Auricula

I love this time of year when you can almost see the plants growing. The rain we have had in the last few days is just what they needed.

Now looking forward to one of my favourite meals at this time of year.
Flambéd chicken with brandy, crème fraîche, tarragon and asparagus, with Cornish new potatoes and sprouting broccoli. Followed be strawberries and cream.
