Another ‘School’ Day

‘Splooting’, brand new word for me, first heard on Tuesday when the Vet Nurse explained that it describes the way Paddy lays sometimes and drags himself off the settee.
Apparently it is a canine equivalent of our morning stretch.

My first Friday visit to friends Richard and Jackie for three weeks included a pasty and tot of rum, good to catch up.
A quiet afternoon looking out on the back garden and hoping for good weather tomorrow.
