2022 Saturday — Morning & Evening

After a lovely leisure breakfast yesterday (Friday) at Mission Inn, we walked across the breezeway to Simple Simon’s Bakery to purchase what they call “Christmas” cookies; they sell them all year long. They have a delicious flavor and the texture is perfect — not too soft and not too crispy.

So this morning as Mr. Fun & I were doing today’s section of this year’s thru the Bible reading, I was also enjoying Christmas and coffee.

Late this afternoon we met our daughter at a favorite restaurant so we could all enjoy dinner together. The meal was good and being together was wonderful. She lives across town from us; having a favorite restaurant halfway between us so we can meet in the middle is very nice.

This has been a lovely first Saturday of May.
