In The Occupied Territory

A walk across the rooftops

View from Berryden Road/Elm Place across the rooftops.
The red bilding and the tower and chimney, were once part of Richards Textile plant. In there they also made firehoses for export all over the world.
The concrete and glass structure is the old city council H.Q. which is slowly (too slowly) being dismantled.
The large clock tower is on the Town House.
Whilsi the grey smaller spire to it's leftbelongs to another empty building, Greyfriars church, which is attached to theMarischal College (Aberdeen Council's new offices) a small portion is just visible.
And, barely perceptable, beside that is Queen Street police station. This was the head quarters of Grampian Police, which has now been amalgamated with all the police forces in Scotland as one entity, called The Scottish Police Force. Clever eh?
The chimney stacks and tiled roof are on apparment blocks on Hutcheon Street I believe.
