Surprise!

I'm back home in Derbyshire and awoke to a very grey day. Mrs. Bob went out walking with her friends and I took myself off to a car park called Surprise View car park on the road to Hathersage.

The view is called Surprise View. You cross the moors and there are no views. Round a right hand bend and an amazing view opens up before your eyes. There are many accidents on this bend as it catches the non locals by total surprise!!

This shot is only a small part of the view. I will blip the entire view one day at sunset in the next few months.

It was taken from the top of a hill known as "Mother cap".

If you view the blip large, Hathersage is on the right of the hillside looking down the Hope valley.

I recommend to view this LARGE.

Back to London tomorrow to see my mum and watch the Hammers. Let's hope we are not robbed by the referee which we were on Wednesday evening , as Van Persie was clearly offside. Only the ref didn't see it, or the linesman, as usual!!
