Santa Shows Up in May

I spotted these bare wood pieces at a thrift store yesterday for 99 cents, and bought 5 of them. I got out the paints, and turned all of them into Michigan and Michigan State Santas.

When I turned them over to sign my initials, I looked twice at the shape...and got the paints back out. BEAR with me and look at the picture in my Extras to see what tim-foolery transpired.
