I decided to take a walk across the street to take a few photos of my neighbor's garden today. This is his magnolia tree, it is a very deep pink.
About 15 degrees cooler today than it was yesterday! I want summer back.

The usual busy day today with housecleaning, brunch, then grocery shopping. I also stopped at Home Depot to order some bricks to be delivered for a job on Thursday. I gave him the address for delivery, but the guy did not notice that it did not accept it for the date he entered. I paid for the order along with a couple other things. When I put them in the truck I noticed on the receipt that it said 'pick up on May 17'. I went back into the store to get them to correct it. I guess the guy decided it was too much work to refund the sale and ring it in again with the delivery charge on it. He said delivery would be free.
A free loaf of bread on Friday night, free delivery for some bricks today, I wonder if I can get anything else free this week.
