More Steps Back to Normal

Such a lovely day after yesterday’s downpour.
Woke at 7.40am after a night where l had woken up a few times but soon got back to sleep.
Did my quick walk and hung out my washing before getting the train to Leeds.
Took a couple of returns back to M&S and John Lewis before ballet.
Afterwards we had a coffee at the cafe in Northern Ballet , the first time in over two years and it meant we didn’t have to trail to John Lewis.
I was able to catch the 2.03 pm train home, another first as it had been taken off due to Covid and staff shortages.
This is one of the four entrances to the station.
( l liked it better as an open expanse) . 

Was shocked to see Kay Mellor has died.
She was a well known presence in Leeds and had an inspiring personal life.
She was always down to earth and friendly.
All those laughs and tears from her brilliant tv writing: Fat Friends , The Chase and The Syndicate to name but three of her drama series.
