Flight of the oystercatchers

They were all perched along the front rail of the bridge. But by the time I had stopped and got my phone it was a flight! Extras of the lovely old bridge at Gairn- a new one is under construction. And today was the day of the sheep, so many sheep and lambs. So an extra of one special Herdy - there was a big flock of them, with feisty teenage lambs and a lot of head butting going on. 50 miles and 1100m of ascent on today’s splendid bike circuit.
