Fall Of The Wall

Today's image was taken after I had dropped my brother off at the station. I'd spotted this collapsed wall ages ago but this morning the light was just in the right place to get this shot.
I really like the combination of the old stones of the wall, the netting (which originally seems to have been intended to keep some of the stones in place), the cow parsley and the dark tree branches in the background.
Ironically just across the road they are building yet more new houses but nobody appears to have any money to repair this badly neglected but characterful wall (mind you it does make a better blip in this dilapidated state!).
