The life & times of Jacks

The End is Here

Last day of our little break and last day of sunshine....well not quite as it is now sunny here in England.

On the last day we wandered around up to Villa Borghese.

Before we reached the park we went into Capuchin Crypt. I have to admit I was a little scared going in but since there are windows letting a lot of natural light in I relaxed a little. There are reportedly the bones of 3700 people used to decorate the crypt. Some of the skeletons still looked like they had remnants of leathery skin on them - it was a interesting experience. Unfortunately no pictures allowed but I can imagine some awesome, if somewhat arguably grotesque, blips as a result.

We finally arrived home about 8pm and I was looking forward to seeing Casper who didn't show until 00:30 - which had me slightly panicked and worried something had happened to him but fortunately he came in, wolfed down his dinner and then promptly threw up everywhere. He has been suitably snuggly and cuddly since.

I'm glad we got away for a few days as now we are in full swing of house buying and moving life for the next 4 weeks is going to be quite busy!
