Glass Leaves
A visit to Furzey Gardens this afternoon, the second time we have visited. It is a social enterprise focussed on teaching people with learning disabilities, run by the Minstead Trust, and is a delightful place.
The image is part of the underside of the roof of "The Lantern", and is constructed of hand painted glass leaves. In 2012 Furzey Gardens exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show, and their garden won a gold medal, quite an achievement for the disabled students involved in the design and making. The garden was recreated back on site, and this is part of it.
To my mind creating glass leaves is a technical exercise, so I've tagged it for the TT challenge.
