On the wing
A beautiful, if windy day, with the odd shower.
We walked along the coast path from Craster towards Boulmer and of course I stupidly left my long lens at home, just when I needed it. There were lots of nesting gulls and a few razorbills at Cullernose Point, and they were amusing to watch as they fought the breeze.
Further down the path we found a sandy cove where we stopped for lunch and shortly afterwards bumped into our friend, whose property we’re staying in. She was out walking her Cockapoo, Rocky, who was very keen to be off to the beach and not standing around chatting.
Instead of doing a circular walk we retraced our steps. So much nicer to be walking by the sea.
We stopped to take pictures of oystercatchers when a couple came towards us and the dog stopped to do its business. “Aren’t you going to pick up after your dog?” No, said the man and walked on past. “Disgraceful behaviour” I shouted after him.
I’ve added a few extras, including said couple.
17,204 steps done.
