Flying Bruce
It was a pleasant day outside today, not as warm as yesterday but at least it was dry and sometimes sunny. After a good morning's pottering in the garden and greenhouse I met up with ANewDay for lunch and then a walk. She hadn't met Cara and Bruce before - apart from on blip - and I think the meeting went well. It was also a good opportunity to show her where we regularly walk so she could see the wonderful views and get an understanding of the lie of the land. This blip was taken on the moor and while Cara and Bruce were very busily involved in digging out a grassy hummock we had walked on. Eventually I called them and Cara appeared immediately, finally followed by Bruce who had suddenly realised that he was supposed to be on his best behaviour so here he is, ears and tongue flapping in his eagerness to be good! In the shot you can also see the bare slope where all the recent felling has been going on and the tall trees to the right which are probably the same age and size as those now toppled.
During the walk I was able to point out the little pink raspberry larch flowers that I blipped the other day. It has been a very enjoyable day.
