Break

Slightly chaotic start to the day with A going to work, mx desperate to get the cat to play with him (she just likes a quiet life and would prefer to be left to sleep!), AR setting up a craft table in the kitchen and Paisley trying to keep out of the way of all the noise!
Mt took them to the play park in the morning then met Is for lunch, whilst I went to the office and had a couple of meetings. Home and finalised the prep for the rest of the week then when I popped out for some milk etc I realised it had got warmer and sunny so since they’d had some afternoon relax/downtime (more crafting etc!) we decided to end the day with a beach trip. They loved it…gradually getting braver about running into the waves and dashing around shouting, having an ice cream and doing some beachcombing. AR found a piece of pottery and some sea glass and a weathered piece of brick, and we saw some bits of crabs. Only spent an hour there but they had a great time.
Home, showers, their supper and bed whilst I made an old classic (Delia’s roasted veg with couscous, salad and harissa dressing) for us. We were all once again wiped out so continued our Bridgerton binge in a companionable slump.
