Woke up with a streaming cold which had started to develop yesterday afternoon. LFT was negative so after checking with C I headed off to Crick to meet her at the plant nursery that we both like. Although I’ve been here several times before I had no idea it was next door to a canal and boat yard. C bought lots but I was very frugal and bought just one fern. Although the sky is a lovely shade of blue in the photo it was a little cool (again!) . We drove to the other side of the village to the Pickle and Pie for the usual delicious lunch and a good long chat. Easy journey home but it started to pour with rain just as I arrived and I got soaked walking from the drive to the house ( a very short distance!)
