Back to the Cemetery

After visiting yesterday, I decided to go back this morning for some flag shots. 

Imagine, if you will, 32,000 flags in front of 32,000 headstones. That's not quite right, because a lot of spouses are buried with their mates, and the columbariums are stacked 6-8 high, but...why let the facts get in the way of a good story.

No matter how many, every headstone has a flag. On Friday of Memorial Day weekend, volunteers put out the flags at 5 p.m., and today at 5 p.m., volunteers take them all down.
