The Fence

It's the first day of winter here, and it was a delightfully mild sunny day. We walked to the village, passing a neighbour's house with a striking timber fence. At first I thought it was made of railway sleepers but, on closer inspection, the planks are more massive, maybe from an old wharf. The extra shows the big picture. It seemed a suitable topic for today's Wide Wednesday challenge, with the theme geometric/shapes/patterns. Thanks Steveng for hosting.
