I photographed this pair of Crested Terns as I walked to the Surf Club Kiosk this morning for coffee. 

Today was the first day of winter in Australia. Which seemed hard to believe in the sub-tropical Northern Rivers - our maximum temperature today was 24 degrees C. Blissful!.
