Fraternal Twins

We were in for another scorcher, temps exceeding 90° F. Hubby and I were up before 6 to take care of outside chores. We weren’t finished before it was time to pick up Mancil and take him to meet his ride to work. I shopped for a few garden items and Kim’s birthday gift since were were out, then we headed to my mother’s. She is due for her second COVID booster. Getting the shot was uneventful. We grabbed a quick bite at Cracker Barrel and took her home. The new flower garden my sister planted on Saturday was parched so we watered it thoroughly. It may be a little too late for a few plants. The garden is about 150 ft from the water source so that is simply too far for my mother to carry water. I walked by this azalea on the way to fill the water bucket. Not sure I have noticed it before. It has two different color blooms. And they are so large and beautiful. Just had to share it with you. After filling the SUV up with gas, we ran in Lowes to get the rest of Kim’s gift. This heat is putting me right to sleep so I expect a nap is only minutes away. Our nice lunch means only a sandwich needed later. We should have a quiet evening. Thanks for visiting, leaving stars, hearts and kind comments. Try to avoid the weather extremes. It sounds like another area of Ukraine could fall into Russian hands. So frightening what may happen to folks still there. Stay safe. “Flowers don’t worry about how they’re going to bloom. They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful.”– Jim Carrey
